### The Invite

Joe and Angela's marriage is on thin ice. Hoping for a pleasant evening, they invite their charismatic upstairs neighbors, Hawk and Piña, over for dinner. What begins as a seemingly ordinary night quickly turns into an unforgettable encounter as unexpected revelations, hidden frustrations, and long-buried desires come to the surface.
As the conversation becomes increasingly candid, the two couples find themselves navigating questions about love, commitment, intimacy, and the boundaries of modern relationships. Filled with sharp dialogue, awkward humor, and emotional honesty, The Invite explores the complexities of long-term partnerships through a single evening that spirals in surprising directions.
Directed by Olivia Wilde and based on the acclaimed Spanish film The People Upstairs (Sentimental), this Sundance hit combines comedy, drama, and relationship satire with an all-star cast.
The film is in English with English subtitles.
