Starring: Jacques Tati, Barbara Dennek, Rita Maiden
Runtime: 2h 35m (155 minutes)
Year: 1967

Monsieur Hulot navigates a Paris of glass towers and identical office grids, crossing paths with a group of American tourists as the city's modern surfaces gradually give way to disorder. Jacques Tati built an entire city set for the production and staged his comedy in wide, densely layered frames where the joke can appear anywhere on screen.
