About "Primetime"

Directed by: Lance Oppenheim

Starring: Robert Pattinson, Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, and Phoebe Bridgers

Runtime: 1 hour 49 minutes

Year: 2026

Primetime pulls back the curtain on the television phenomenon that blurred the line between justice and entertainment, asking how far the media should go in the pursuit of ratings. Robert Pattinson commands the screen as Chris Hansen, delivering a performance that is intense, charismatic, and layered with moral uncertainty. The film dives into questions of power, responsibility, and the public's appetite for spectacle, themes that feel more relevant than ever in an age dominated by viral moments and online outrage. Rather than offering easy answers, it challenges viewers to consider who exactly benefits when real lives become prime time drama. Smart, suspenseful, and deeply thought-provoking.

The film is in English with Dutch subtitles.
